Joe has been a key member of the Arnel, Inc. leadership team for over 20 years. He started his career in real estate as a broker and property manager at a suburban Chicago property management company, and focused on multifamily property management. Since joining Arnel, Inc., he has been involved in the purchase, sale and management of thousands of multifamily units throughout the Midwest. Joe received his B.A. from Hobart College. He lives in Chicago with his wife Cindy and their son Myles.

KATHERINE O. PORTER

Vice President

Katie is a key member of the executive team at Arnel, Inc. She joined Arnel, Inc. after working as an attorney at a Chicago labor and employment law firm. Since joining Arnel, Inc. Katie has been focused on property management, employee relations and risk management. Katie received her B.A., cum laude, from Colgate University and her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. She lives in Evanston, IL with her husband David and their three children.

O'BRIEN

Vice President & General Counsel

Peter has been an integral part of the leadership team of Arnel, Inc. for over 20 years. He joined Arnel, Inc. after working as an attorney in the real estate practice of a Chicago-based international law firm. In that position, he represented real estate developers, institutional owners and banks in a variety of real estate sale, leasing and financing transactions. During his time with Arnel, Inc. Peter has structured and overseen the purchase, sale and financing of thousands of residential apartments as well as a number of commercial office buildings. Peter received his B.A., cum laude, from Colgate University and his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law. He lives in Evanston, IL with his wife, Cheryl, and their two children.
